Usually involving the systematic removal of your tree in manageable pieces.

Reductions

Making the canopy of your tree smaller, to better suit your garden's size.

Pollarding

The removal of all growth, leaving the basic structure to allow regeneration.

Thinning 

The removal of surplus branches within a tree to let in more light.

Crown cleaning

The removal of dead wood and rubbing branches to make a tree safer and less cluttered.

Hedge Cutting

We offer hedge trimming and topping as an additional service

Treetop Services prefer to dismantle your trees in small pieces and use lowering ropes for large timbers, to prevent damage to your garden and property.

I needed extensive work on 30 overgrown conifer trees at my new house and entrusted the work to TreeTop. The job was done quietly and efficiently and I was so pleased that I have since used them to manage the orchard and perform remedial surgery when the November storms damaged several pines and ancient oak trees. Tom and Sam know their stuff and several of the trees I thought were damaged beyond repair are recovering, despite the storm damage. I have used other tree specialists before but now rely exclusively on TreeTop Services
